PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Interested in understanding what happens behind the scenes of performances?
We have an exciting internship opportunity for you!
SCD is looking for two to three interns to help with SCD In-Studio performances from August 2022 – May 2023. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside SCD’s Production Lead to learn lighting, broadcasting, camera operation, and house management.
This internship includes free SCD classes for the entire summer!
The internship can be used for volunteer hours if needed for high school or college requirements.

YEARLY INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Become an SCD Intern! Enjoy free classes while working closely with SCD Company Members to assist with SCD performances, events, and day-to-day studio operations

Tech Intern
– Shadow our Production Lead
– Learn performance production: lighting, sound, camera, & broadcast
– Assist backstage for In Studios
Education Intern
– Shadow our Education Lead
– Learn the workings of non-profit educational programming
– Help with class check in
– Assist with SCD kids classes
Administrative Intern
– Shadow our General Manager
– Learn the operating procedures of an arts non-profit
– Assist with marketing communication & donor cultivation
– Work front of house for Main Stage performances
Because we are non-profit, ALL intern hours can be signed to count as volunteer hours required for High School or college programs!
