Sarasota Contemporary Dance enters its 21st season with Raíces y Vuelos (Roots & Flights)—a bold celebration of where we come from and where we are headed. This landmark season brings together an extraordinary range of performances, beginning with The Barker Project at the Manatee Performing Arts Center and moving through powerful works that transform history, neighborhoods, and live collaboration into unforgettable dance experiences.

From History in Motion exploring the Harlem Renaissance, to Mural in Motion activating the streets of the Rosemary District, to the sold-out favorite Dance Makers presenting works by nationally known choreographers. The season culminates in a major large-scale collaboration with enSRQ at the Sarasota Opera House—an electrifying finale of movement, music, and shared artistry.
